Nana Eyeson-Akiwowo Founder and Director of African Health Now

What would you do if your father had a heart attack, and he was living thousands of miles away in a different country, and your options were very limited as to how to help him?
That is the exact scenario that faced our guest today. She lives in New York and her father was living in Ghana. This emergency situation led her on a journey of discovering the disparities of the heath care system in Ghana and she knew at that moment, she had to do something about it. She soon started a Nonprofit to address these needs. Nana Eyeson-Akiwowo is our guest today and she is the Founder and Director of African Health Now. Her story is all about seeing a need, and meeting it. We believe her story will inspire you to make a difference in your own world. Enjoy today’s show.
